Fees
The fee for the first session is £30. The fee for the normal 50 minute session is £39.
Normally the fee is paid at the end of each session. Payment is by cash or cheque.

Sessions, Appointments and Time
Appointments are weekly, usually on the same day and time. The session will be of 50 minutes duration and will be within the allocated appointment time. If I foresee an absence, e.g. for holidays, I will give as much notice as possible. Clients are asked to do likewise if possible.

The first session is about having the opportunity to explore whether this counselling setting is suitable for the client. If the client decides to proceed, agreement will be
reached at this stage regarding contractual arrangements.

It is important that the client talks with me about any concerns that they may have about working together.

Cancellations
At least 24 hour notification is required for first and subsequent appointments to be cancelled. Unfortunately, if this notification is not given the client will be charged for
the session.

It is important that cancellations are done by phone or text message only.
You may also leave a message if I am unable to take your call.

It is helpful if clients, in cancelling one session, confirm their intention to attend for the next session as I may not be able to guarantee the same appointment time and day.

Confidentiality
I work in accordance with the standards of COSCA and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which means what you talk about is confidential. This will be explained in more detail at the first session.

Agreement will be made with you if there is a requirement to contact you at home
or at work.

Code of Ethics
I abide by the ethical frameworks of COSCA and BACP.
